About Dibs
A letter from the team
We know the pattern. A settlement notice shows up, the form looks like homework, and “later” never comes. Billions in court-approved settlement money goes unclaimed every year because notices are easy to miss and filing is easy to abandon.
That is why we built Dibs.
Dibs is the iPhone app that helps people find class action settlements they may qualify for, file claims on the official settlement sites, and track each claim through to payment. Matching, filing help, and follow-through live in one place, and we do not take a cut of your payout.
We are a small team in San Francisco. We built Dibs so claiming does not have to wait for a later that never arrives.

What Dibs does
- Find matches. Browse open settlements and see which ones may apply based on brands and everyday situations you select.
- File with less friction. Save your claim details once. Optional Dibs Pro Claim Agent (alpha) helps fill official forms; you review and submit.
- Follow through. Track filing, court milestones, and payout updates in one list.
- Keep your payout. Dibs takes 0% of settlement payments. Settlement administrators pay you directly.
How money and trust work
Dibs is a helper, not a court, law firm, or settlement administrator. We do not give legal advice. Eligibility, deadlines, and payout amounts are set by each settlement.
You always review your answers and submit on the official claim site. When a payment is approved, it comes from the administrator, not from Dibs. Matching, reminders, and tracking are free. Dibs Pro is optional convenience; it is never a cut of your payout.
Your saved claim profile stays on your device. Read our privacy policy.
How we list settlements
We focus on court-approved class action settlements that are open to claim. Listings are checked against official notices and administrator materials, including deadlines and whether proof of purchase is required. Terms can change; always confirm eligibility on the official settlement site before you file.
