What matters here
  1. Dibs Pro’s Claim Agent can help fill official settlement forms using details you have saved.
  2. Claimants must review their answers and handle the form’s signing and submission steps.
  3. A completed form is not a guarantee of eligibility or payment; settlement terms still control.

Settlement forms are easier to finish when your contact details are ready and you know what the settlement asks you to confirm. Dibs can match open settlements to brands and services you use. On iOS, its free tier includes matching, deadline reminders and tracking. Dibs Pro adds Claim Agent, which helps fill official claim forms using saved details.

That help can reduce repeated typing. It does not decide whether you qualify, replace the settlement’s instructions or submit a claim without your review. Treat each form as a separate filing, and check every answer against the official terms before you sign and submit.

1. Start with the settlement’s rules

Find the settlement that matches your experience and open its terms before filling anything out. Check who is eligible, what dates or conduct matter, whether proof is required, the deadline and how the administrator accepts claims. A match is a prompt to check the rules, not a decision that you qualify.

Pay particular attention to the details the form asks you to certify. If you are unsure whether your circumstances meet a requirement, do not guess or rely on a prefilled answer. Use the settlement’s official instructions to resolve the question.

Some claims require supporting information and others may not. If the form calls for records, find them before starting and follow the administrator’s directions for providing them. Dibs matching does not change those requirements.

2. Prepare your contact details

Before opening the Claim Agent, gather the contact information you expect the official form to request. Common items can include your legal name, mailing address, email address and phone number. Use the form’s own instructions to determine what is required, and have the information available exactly as you intend to enter it.

Check for old addresses, misspellings and email accounts you no longer use. If the settlement asks for a particular address or other identifying detail, do not substitute a different one just because it is easier to find. Keep any claim-specific information separate from your general contact details; it should come from your own records or the settlement’s directions.

Dibs says users can save details once for use with Claim Agent. That can make repeat form entry less tedious, but it is still your responsibility to make sure those details are current and appropriate for the claim. Do not assume a saved profile answers settlement-specific eligibility questions.

3. Use Claim Agent to help fill the form

In the Dibs iOS app, identify the open settlement and use Claim Agent if you have Pro. The feature helps fill in official claim forms using saved details. Follow the steps presented for that settlement; the exact questions and information required depend on the claim.

Think of the agent as help with form entry, not an eligibility shortcut. It may assist with contact fields, but a claim can also ask about purchases, dates, account activity or other facts that only you can verify. Read each question carefully and answer from your own knowledge and records. If an answer is wrong or incomplete, correct it before moving on.

Do not treat a populated field as verified just because it is filled in. Compare names, addresses and other details with the official form. Check that any claim-specific answer reflects your experience and that you have not left a required section unanswered.

4. Review, sign and submit yourself

Before filing, make a final pass through the complete form. Confirm that you are claiming under the right settlement, that your contact information is accurate and that your answers match the eligibility rules. Review any certification language. Signing means you are responsible for what you submit.

Then follow the official claim process to sign and submit. Filing on an official settlement site is free, according to Dibs. Do not assume that using Claim Agent sends the form automatically; Dibs describes the claimant reviewing answers, signing and submitting. Keep any confirmation or filing information the official process provides so you can refer to it later.

If a question is unclear, pause and consult the settlement instructions or administrator rather than making up an answer. A complete-looking form is not necessarily a valid claim, and filing does not guarantee approval or a payment.

5. Track the claim after filing

Once you have submitted, use Dibs tracking to follow the claim through the stages from court approval to payment. A filing confirmation, court approval and payment are separate milestones. The administrator reviews claims and determines eligibility and payment under the settlement terms; a status update is not a promise that money will arrive immediately.

For a closer look at those stages, see how to track a class action claim from filing to payout. Keeping contact details ready makes the form-filling part more efficient. Careful review is what helps keep the answers tied to the actual claim.
